OUR SERVICES

How We Can Help Your Family

Everything below is non-medical support delivered by a caregiver in the client’s home. Availability is confirmed for each service after we understand the client’s needs, so what we promise is always what we can actually provide.

Companionship

Companionship

Warm, genuine company that keeps someone connected to the people and interests they enjoy.

Companionship care is about connection, not tasks. A GoldMinerz caregiver sits with your loved one, talks with them, shares a meal, takes a walk, works in the garden or simply keeps them company while they read or watch television. Time spent this way helps ease loneliness, keeps spirits lifted, and gives family caregivers a welcome break knowing someone is at home.

What’s included
  • Conversation, games, puzzles and shared hobbies
  • Walks, gentle exercise and time outdoors
  • Reading, music and arts and crafts
  • Help staying connected by phone or video call
  • Company during meals, coffee and quiet time at home
  • Light pet care and plant care when requested

Medication Reminders

Medication Reminders

Kind, reliable reminders that help clients follow the medication routine their doctor has already set.

Many clients manage their medicines well but simply forget the time or the step. A GoldMinerz caregiver gives a calm reminder at the times that have already been set by the client's doctor or pharmacist, and notes each reminder in the visit record. This is a reminder service only. We do not administer medication, adjust doses, or provide medical management.

What’s included
  • Verbal and visual reminders at the times set by the doctor
  • Support with pill boxes and blister packs already in use
  • A written note of every reminder given during the visit
  • Flagging anything unusual to the family right away
  • Support with routine over-the-counter reminders
  • Respecting the client's own routine and preferences

  • Help standing, sitting and changing position safely
  • Gentle, guided movement and stretching within ability
